What the company operates
One product, on three surfaces.
Plus is one app for running a service business: take payments, send invoices, track expenses and keep records in a single place. Lux, the built-in assistant, reads the state of the business, surfaces what needs attention on Home, and prepares the follow-ups for the operator to confirm in one tap.
- Web. The full application at pavo-me.com, in any modern browser.
- iOS. A native app on the Apple App Store, listed as Plus: Start Your Business, including Tap to Pay on iPhone.
- Android. A native app on Google Play, listed as Plus: Start Your Business. Newly published, so the install base is still small.
- Languages. Six: English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic and Chinese.
How money moves, and what that makes us
The diligence question, answered plainly.
Plus is software. Customer payments collected through Plus are processed by Stripe using Stripe Connect. Each merchant holds settlement funds in that merchant’s own Stripe connected account and controls payouts to a bank account they designate.
Emmber, Inc. does not receive, hold, pool or transmit customer payment funds. It is not a bank, an escrow agent, a payment facilitator or a payment institution, and it holds no money-transmitter or money-services license in Delaware, Florida or any other jurisdiction. Stripe is the licensed processor and the party that collects. This is a description of the funds flow, not a licensing determination.
The contractual version, including federal and state money-transmission characterization, is Terms of Service section 5.5, with a fuller summary in legal entity section 6.
Revenue model
Subscription plans, plus a small platform fee on payments that is capped on the paid tiers and removed entirely on the highest ones. Stripe’s processing cost is passed through at cost on every plan. Current plans and exact figures are on the pricing section of the home page, which is the single source of truth for them.
Where Plus works
Live markets, and built-but-closed ones.
Live in the United States. US dollars, Tap to Pay on iPhone, US sales tax, and payouts to a merchant’s bank through Stripe Connect.
Nineteen further countries already exist in the production region registry with their currency, tax treatment, e-invoicing regime and charge model written and shipped — the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France, Italy, Turkey, Israel and the Gulf and Levant markets among them. They are held closed behind a launch flag rather than built on a roadmap. Opening one is a configuration change and a payments-partner conversation, not a rewrite.
